Inside Job is AIGA Houston's annual in-house design conference. The organization hosts 120–150 attendees and presents 3 keynote speakers that give insight and inspiration to help improve in-house creative teams.

The goal each year is to create an identity that resonates with an in-house team—a close-knit group that learns, trains, and works specifically to advance the goals of their organization. Using Houston's history with NASA and space exploration innovation, design astronauts felt like the perfect choice. Using the shape builder tool’s likeness to planetary shapes a mission patch was created . It includes the latin phrase—common on mission patches—for “ shape builder”. With the notebook and program provided, the opportunity to package the items in mylar bags to emulate the look of astronaut food was fitting.
